We hereby announce the ALERT levels issued on 14 March 2026 at 12:53 by the LIGURIA REGION – CIVIL PROTECTION (Communication No. 2026_009) for Zone B (the Genoa area):

YELLOW Hydrogeological Alert for THUNDERSTORMS AND WIDESPREAD RAIN until 21:59 on 14 March 2026

ORANGE Hydrogeological Alert for THUNDERSTORMS and WIDESPREAD RAIN from 22:00 on 14 March 2026 until 07:59 on 15 March 2026

YELLOW Hydrological Alert for THUNDERSTORMS AND WIDESPREAD RAIN from 08:00 until 09:59 on 15 March 2026

The Municipal Operations Centre (C.O.C.) met on 14 March. Following the declaration of an ORANGE ALERT for the municipality of Genoa issued by the Liguria Region, it implemented the measures set out in the Municipal Civil Protection Plan for the management of meteorological and hydrogeological risks and ordered the temporary closure  of parks and gardens until 2.00 pm on Sunday 15 March, to allow technicians to assess their condition. 

Therefore, the following museums will be closed until 2.00 pm on Sunday 15 March
